Reset Features

Reset Features will reset the XFM feature symbology or properties defined by the selected mode.

Setting Description
Mode Determines what will be reset.
  • All - Resets both properties and symbology. This is the default setting.
  • Properties - Only the feature properties are reset.
  • Symbology - Only the feature symbology is reset.
Use Fence Specifies if Reset Features should operate on feature instances within a fence.
Use Initial Value Key Property values can be reset to the initial value defined in the geospatial project. The value can be found in the Value column of the Initial Values pane of a property definition. The options are:
  • annotating
  • editing - This is the default setting.
  • placing

The following key-ins are associated with Reset Features:

Key-in Description
FEATURE RESET ALL (optional initialValueKeyName) Resets all feature properties and symbology. For example:
  • FEATURE RESET ALL editing
  • FEATURE RESET ALL placing
FENCE FEATURE RESET ALL (optional initialValueKeyName) Resets all features properties and symbology in a fence. For example:
  • FENCE FEATURE RESET ALL editing
  • FENCE FEATURE RESET ALL placing
FEATURE RESET mode Resets the feature symbology or properties defined by mode
FENCE FEATURE RESET mode Resets the feature symbology or properties defined by mode in the fence
FEATURE RESET PROPERTIES initialValueKeyName

Resets feature properties to placing or editing as defined in the geospatial project. If not specified, the default is editing. For example:

  • FEATURE RESET PROPERTIES editing
  • FEATURE RESET PROPERTIES placing
  • FENCE FEATURE RESET PROPERTIES editing
  • FENCE FEATURE RESET PROPERTIES placing
